DESCRIPTION:The story of Flt Lt Alan Green\, RAF Navigator and POW\, as tol
 d by his son\, Captain Stuart Green. Alan joined the RAF in 1940 and was 
 undertaking his basic training in Torquay the night his home city was bomb
 ed in the biggest single raid on the UK in WW2. After completing his flyin
 g training in Canada in 1941\, he was eventually posted to 218 Squadron at
  RAF Marham and carried out 23 missions over enemy territory\, before bein
 g shot down over Holland on 21st June 1942.  \n\n
