Celebrating a very successful year. Leamington History Group and Leamington Town Council have to announce that the free Guided Walks programme for 2019 has now ended; but with a Celebration.
On 14th November the Mayor, Bill Gifford, invited the Guides, LHG Committee members, some regular walkers and some fellow councillors to a buffet lunch at the Town Hall. The Mayor thanked the Group for all the effort which made the walks possible and so successful. This was an enjoyable get-together and Leamington History Group was pleased that our contribution to the life of the town by arranging this programme of walks was recognised by the Town Council.
The walks in 2019 took place every Tuesday at 2.30 pm and every Wednesday at 7.00 pm throughout June, July and August. In September the walks were every Tuesday and Wednesday at 2.30 pm, finishing on Wednesday 11th September. Full details of the walks are available with the following links –

– September 2019 –
We are confident that we will provide a programme of similar walks in 2020 beginning in June. Please visit the site again for information.
You can also book a private guided walk for a Group Tour. There is a small charge of £3 per person (minimum £12). These tours are subject to the availability of the guides and may be arranged by contacting the Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PLEASE NOTE that we are always happy to welcome new people who are prepared to lead walks. We can offer all the support you will need. If you are interested, do not delay – please contact the Secretary at email@example.com.
