The story of Flt Lt Alan Green, RAF Navigator and POW, as told by his son, Captain Stuart Green. Alan joined the RAF in 1940 and was undertaking his basic training in Torquay the night his home city was bombed in the biggest single raid on the UK in WW2. After completing his flying training in Canada in 1941, he was eventually posted to 218 Squadron at RAF Marham and carried out 23 missions over enemy territory, before being shot down over Holland on 21st June 1942.
