We are delighted at the success of our first video, “Birth of a Spa Town” –   https://leamingtonhistory.co.uk/birth-of-a-spa-town

We wish to build on this with a sequel following the life of the town in much of the second half of the nineteenth century. This will again be free to view on our website. Our plan is that the same producer and team will develop another 20 minute video; this will cost at least £3,000 and we therefore need to raise funds to finance this.

Starring role for Young People in our next Leamington Town Video

We were pleased with the excellent narration provided by young people for our first video Birth of a Spa Town

We are now looking for some enthusiastic students (aged 15 to 18 years) preferably with an interest in drama/ public speaking to audition for the narrator role in our next video.  Auditions will take place very soon in the week of 20th July online e.g. Zoom.  Students will just be asked to read out from a short script.  If successful, filming will take place in September.

If you do know of anyone in your family/friend circle who might be interested in this, then please do get in touch for further details.

We are already approaching several sources of funding but will welcome any donations from individuals or organisations for this video which we hope to launch by September 2020.

If you or your organisation are able to donate funds to support this, can you please make a payment by BACS transfer
(sort code 40-27-06, account no 42083019, plus your name),
